The Team Sacramento December schedule includes one tournament as well as our annual kids party and pot luck. The team will be participating in the CCSF Tournament on Sunday, December 8. This means there will be no practice on Saturday, December 7. The rest of the month will consist of a regular practice schedule with exceptions for the Christmas and New Year holidays. We will be off on December 24, 25, and 26 for Christmas. This will not include Saturday December 28 when we will be having our annual kids Christmas Party and Pot Luck. Please come and join us for this event and contact Joanne to coordinate what you can bring to the pot luck. Please wear white judogis for photos. The following week we will be off on December 31, January 1 and January 2 for the New Years holiday. We will be returning to a full practice schedule on January 4th 2014. We will then be preparing for the heart of the competition season with two tournaments in February.

2013 Pan American Games Results

On November 16, 2013 Marlina Luz competed in the Infantile Pan American Championships in El Salvador. The day did not start out strong with Marlina losing her first international competition to Brazil by two yukos. Marlina did rebound to beat Dominican Republic (Ippon) and Columbia (Ippon) on the way to a well deserved Bronze medal in a very tough field. Congratulations Marlina on the first of many international medals!
