March Schedule

Team Sacramento March schedule will have one tournament and one special workout to go with all regularly scheduled practices. On Saturday March 16 we will have the Annual Sensei Birthday Workout starting at 10:00 AM in Folsom. This is always a fun but challenging workout so come prepared! The team will also participate in the Cupertino Judo Tournament on Sunday March 24. As always there will be no practice the day before the tournament on Saturday March 23. All other class times and schedules will remain the same. Good luck to all competitors!

Vacaville Tournament Results

Team Sacramento had a fun and successful day at the Vacaville PAL Tournament on Sunday February 24. There were a total of 11 competitors from the team. Special recognition to the four first time competitors Stephen Butler, Marcus Or, Railyn Abisia, and Kali Seto. The team fared well with a win/loss record of 26-18. Of the 26 victories there were 24 ippons scored. A total of seven of the eleven competitors brought home medals, and here are the results:

Sensei Birthday Workout

The date for the annual Sensei Birthday Workout has been set. The workout will take place on Saturday March 16 at 10:00 AM in Folsom. Everyone prepare for the toughest practice of the year!

Sensei Memorial Results

Team Sacramento had a great day at the Sensei Memorial in San Jose on Sunday February 10. The team sent eight competitors to the tournament and placed seven. As a group the team won 17 matches all by ippon! Fantastic work everyone. Here are the individual results:

February Schedule

Team Sacramento has two tournaments during the month of February as part of the normal schedule. We will be competing at the Sensei Memorial in San Jose on Sunday February 10. This will be a very competitive tournament and I hope to see our best competitors perform to expectations. We will also be competing in the Vacaville PAL Tournament on Sunday February 24. This will be an excellent opportunity for our new students to experience competition for the first time. I hope to have a lot of first time competitors in Vacaville. As always there is no practice Saturday February 9 and 23 before the tournaments. All other practice times and schedules will remain the same.
