Only 19 judoka tonight, but still a great workout. Lots of uchikomi, partner drills, ukemi, and randori.
We had a little contest tonight to see who could do ukemi over the most bodies. Six-pack was the favorite going in, but, surprisingly, Jonel beat everybody by clearing nine people with room to spare - not too bad for an old man :-)
Practice downtown tomorrow night.

Saturday Practice
Saturday practice went very well. The small class size (16 total) allowed a lot of one-on-one instruction.
Breakdown of today's training:
Warmup: 30 minutes
Half nelson drills: 30 minutes
Seoinage variations and transitions: 90 minutes
Randori & newaza: 30 minutes
A video compilation of today's workout is available here.
This weekend marks the end of our two-week cycle on seoinage and variations (same-side grip, seoitoshi, transitions, etc).
Monday is the start of a new two-week cycle. Maybe kouchigari or te guruma. If there is a specific throw or combination you would like to work on post it to comments.
